Why Wellness?

My purpose and my passion is to encourage a life of wellness – for you, for me, and for the world.

What is wellness?

Generally speaking, wellness is a healthy balance of mind, body, and spirit that promotes an overall sense of well-being.

There are several ideas out there that discuss the concept of wellness ‘dimensions’ and the number of dimensions wellness can be divided into. Β I like and relate best with the concept of “7 Dimensions of Wellness”:



I believe that often times, we get into the pattern of focusing on one or two of these dimensions and labeling them as what makes up our health and our life. Β Stepping outside of the food and fitness box and focusing on these seven dimensions may help you increase your overall sense of well-being, and in turn perhaps increase your overall health.
